Annie Jets Photoshoot

This is a series of photos I shot for the effervescent singer-songwriter, Annie Jets! For this shoot, I created the background designs in photoshop/after effects, then projected them onto a white wall I had Annie stand in front of.

I met Annie sitting behind the art building at school. I had mostly been keeping to myself during that period of time, so I surprised myself when I pulled up a chair and sat next to her. I felt like we clicked right away, and she mentioned that she was in a band. I was taking a photography class at the time, which sparked the idea that I should shoot her for my final assignment.

It was truly wonderful to work with her. As we jammed to the music coming from my speaker, she flowed from pose to pose, mimicking the movement of the lines and patterns that illuminated the wall.
